The norfolk island pine is not a true pine at all. These trees prefer several hours of full, direct as they love southern or western facing windows. It loves moist soil and when it needs water, the bottom leaves will brown and droop. Overall, with the right humidity and bright light, this plant could be the perfect indoor living tree.
