Birdie the Bird of Paradise is looking for a new plant parent and we want everyone to have a chance to bring this huge statement queen home. How are we going to do that? Of course with a raffle. Tickets are $10/each. With $10/tickets, you get entered into the giveaway once. If you want to be entered more than once,we also have $20/ticket options where you get more "bang" for your buck, since instead of getting entered into the giveaway once, we will enter you into the giveaway, THREE times. You can purchase as many tickets as you like if you wanted to be entered more than that and the more tickets you purchase, the more times you are entered into the drawing.
We must have at least 11 interested plant parents in Birdie for this raffle to take place. If not, we will refund your tickets and she will continue to be up for adoption. The raffle will take place now until 9/20 around 9 pm EST. We will be on our Instagram stories doing a live drawing of Birdies new plant parent and details on how to pick her up if you are the winner.
If you are interested in getting a HUGE, and we mean HUGE statement plant for your home, this might be the gal for you. If you want to see in person, be sure to stop by The Golden Roast Melrose.
Want to know more about our girl, here are her details below, but we think you should grab a coffee and visit her for yourself:
The bird of paradise is considered the queen of the indoor jungle. She is larger than life, with glossy, bright, and vibrant leaves to match. She is relatively hard and adapts well to a large spectrum of light sources, although she thrives in bright indirect light. Humidity and moisture is important if you want to keep this gal happy and healthy. She needs consistent watering to keep her soil moist, but never soggy. She also will love you forever if you mist her regularly to increase the humidity in the air.
Pot: Blue ombre ceramic planter
Drainage holes within pot: Yes
Measurements: 14 inch diameter pot, 70 inches tall
Requirements: Easy, relatively low maintenance queen, bright indirect light, loves humidity and moisture
